Synthetic Marijuana

Synthetic cannabis sit in the grey area between what is legal and what is not.  Producers keep one-step ahead of drug laws with these chemical creations, a dangerous brew that can have tragic side effects.

Dirty drugs such as these packets are another reason for regulation and decriminalization of cannabis.

About Canada's Marijuana Laws

During Justin Trudeau's run for Prime Minister he gave the impression that he would regulate marijuana use in Canada.  This was positive news for the many medical cannabis users who were successfully treating illness and disability with marijuana. Medical patients and dispensaries wonder why do the laws remain the same?

Jeremy Jacob: Cannabis legalization in Canada is about much more than the plant

Legalizing cannabis is a significant chapter in Canada’s history, our economy, and our society. There are real risks to local economies, and west coast culture, in creating regulations that dismantle an existing industry.
The right to grow, the right to process, the right to choose your medicine and your supplier, must be ensured. Significant research on the medical properties of cannabis must be undertaken. Education, de-stigmatization, and awareness must continue and increase.

What do you think?  When legalized should citizens afford the freedom to choose their local dispensary when purchasing cannabis.
